It's not a death blow to the GOP (they'll hold the House in '14) but it is a nice slap in the face.

I think we're going to see a lot of GOP flailing over the next several years, honestly, until demographic realities finally force them to change their ways, or more likely, crush them.

That's all it will take to throw these darkside bums out of power, and install Americans as the House Majority.

The House may not shift until next decade, but I have a feeling that when it does we'll really be seeing the beginning of the end for movement conservatism. They're Achilles Heel is that they're too fanatical to change, which means that when the demographics crunch finally knocks them down, they won't be getting up. Something will get up, but it won't be the Right we've been forced to endure.

The GOP is all over the map with the demands.

Reminds me of standing in the checkout line at the supermarket when my kids were real little. The closer we got to the cash register the more desperate they became to wheedle any sort of trinket out of me... "oh, please mommy, let me have that toy and I'll clean my room for a week. Just a candy bar... some gum... a keychain... how about these toenail clippers?"

Sad, sad, sad little people.
