1. My friend and I are going into a deep red portion of our area today for a ladies day out.

We'll keep your admonition in mind.

I haven't had to do much of that at work lately. The RWNJ's I work with have been doing a pretty good job of that and I just give them free rein with little added comment. It's been fun listening to them as they realize it's the crazies that they voted into office that are responsible for this mess. They can't quite bring themselves to say anything good about President Obama yet, but they are seeing a few things more clearly now.

maybe now veterans , government workers, and the older people will turn much farther away from republicans. But we must make sure the responsibilty for the pain and suffering is laid on the republicans. Ignorance gave us this Tea party mess. Expecting ignorant rage to fix it is like waiting for a room of monkeys to play a beautiful concerto. Write letters to the editor. Speak out for truth. Fight Gerrymandering and hate wherever they exist.

2. Bathtub, fill it up!

3. I did last night

Was at a high school football game (I do volunteer work for the marching band), and I was talking to a band parent. Now because of what I do I get access to good places at the stadiums. This conversation took place with me standing on the track by a fence and the other person standing on the other side where people walk by to get where ever they are going. There lots of people around. Anyway, the parent says it is all of DC's fault mostly the Pres and both parties. I said nope this is all on the republicans, sorry but they caused this by not being able to control their crazy teabagger wing, who just want to burn everything that isn't white down. He stood there with is jaw open. I walked away because it was time to do my job and take pictures of the band.

If you stand your ground and act like an adult, the bagger types have no idea what to do. They either look shocked and dumb founded or they revert to 3 year olds and hurl insults. The other people watching (and there were a lot) just nodded their heads in agreement and smiled.
