Itís a freaking beginning, thats all.. The ACAís #1 attribute is

that it will prove to the American People that govt. can work better than the free bullshit market place.
When people as a majority begin to understand that the thing works and that it will only become better with time, they will begin to expect more..

Unfortunately in order to implement Single Payer it will require a tax increase on practically everyone .
A small fucking price to pay....

1. "Unfortunately in order to implement Single Payer it will require"Ö

Öa Democratic majority in Congress. Too bad so many progressives were so pissed-off at the Obama administration (among other things, for not giving us single-payer to start with), that they decided to stay home for the 2010 elections.

2. Medicare for All would only require a tax increase if we were afraid to cut defense.

4. And that's a big thing. No other President has succeeded

in pushing something like this through since Medicare in the 60's.

5. Actually, the #1 attribute is it moves the fight to the states.

Public option or single payer is a much easier fight in a blue state. And success in blue states, and a lack of dead bodies, will allow us to destroy the national FUD about single payer.
