It’s a freaking beginning, thats all.. The ACA’s #1 attribute is

that it will prove to the American People that govt. can work better than the free bullshit market place.
When people as a majority begin to understand that the thing works and that it will only become better with time, they will begin to expect more..

Unfortunately in order to implement Single Payer it will require a tax increase on practically everyone .
A small fucking price to pay....

…a Democratic majority in Congress. Too bad so many progressives were so pissed-off at the Obama administration (among other things, for not giving us single-payer to start with), that they decided to stay home for the 2010 elections.

Public option or single payer is a much easier fight in a blue state. And success in blue states, and a lack of dead bodies, will allow us to destroy the national FUD about single payer.
