Hearing a co-worker (whining) saying that "I don't think anybody likes Obamacare", and it occurred

to me ...

I should ask him ... "Are you 100% happy with how this workplace is? No? Then I guess your only option is to quit and go to a place that fits your views 100%. Good luck with that."

[hr][font color="blue"][center]Birds are territorial creatures.
The lyrics to the songbird's melodious trill go something like this:
"Stay out of my territory or I'll PECK YOUR GODDAMNED EYES OUT!"

It's the safety net for:

people with pre-existing conditions that formerly excluded them
people who made a teensy bit too much to get on medicaid
people (especially younger ones) with shitty jobs & low pay and NO company benefits they could access even if they wanted to

It was never intended to be a REPLACEMENT for people who currently have policies

Seriously, there's a significant portion of this society that is so insulated from reality that they think their cherished and corporate-media-constructed opinions are in sync with the opinions of the majority of Americans. I had serious, intelligent people last year tell me that Romney was going to win in a landslide. They were wrong, obviously, but that was because they live in a media-constructed bubble that insulates them from the truth.

I suspect the woman to whom you refer is merely one of the fully-insulated pawns upon which the political caste depends for its very survival.
