GOOD CATCH MR. PRESIDENT! Obama Catches Fainting Woman During White House Speech! (Video)

http://aattp.org/good-catch-mr-president-obama-catches-fainting-woman-white-house-speech-video

During a speech this morning by President Obama on Obamacare, a woman standing directly behind the president began to wobble back and forth as if she was about to faint.

Luckily, Obama realized there was something going on behind him and immediately turned around to catch the woman, making sure she remained steady on her feet.

.... “This is what happens when I talk too long,” the president said ....

Since I played baseball with my brothers growing up and threw overhand, I wouldn't have missed. Not in a million years. Of course I wouldn't be where I am now, either. I hear they don't offer inmates internet?

At least I did get to quit a job almost that way one time. Manager of a huge retirement center was a grifter who skimmed $ by billing for services she never actually provided. Called me on the carpet to cover her own rear, but she did it at the front desk to impress everybody. I took off both my shoes - fortunately the lobby was fairly crowded and I had an audience - and slapped them (the shoes, not the audience!) over my head while giving her my direst look. I don't know if any of them ever figured out what that meant, but they knew it couldn't be good.

Oh, I scared the hell out of a rotten hateful bus driver where I retired here in the MidWest boonies by telling him I was going to make a voodoo doll and stick pins in it. The rare times he encounters me in a store now, he turns around and dashes back to his bus. If I can't pin a real curse on him, the next best thing is to use superstition. I don't care so long as it works.

The thrower was so determined to hit Bush that when he missed with the first shoe he threw his other one.

And that doggone Bush ducked both of them. Had to give it to him, he was pretty good at ducking. Must have played a lot of dodge ball as a kid.

When standing at attention for long lengths of time your knees should be slightly flexed and relaxed or you will cut off blood flow and pass out.
That very thing happened at my Basic Training graduation. A soldier in the back row did a face plant and broke his nose.
You never believe it until you see it for yourself.

I often recommended military service to younger people based on my experiences but recently I am somewhat hesitant as we seem to be fighting a lot of wars that are totally unnecessary or once won turn into a nightmare when we attempt to rebuild a nation and change its form of government into a democracy which may be impossible in a society that has little or no experience with such a form of government.

Still military service can provide an education that can be beneficial and can definitely expose an individual to many new experiences and places. You learn discipline, responsibility and teamwork which are worthwhile attributes in the civilian workplace. Unfortunately you can also get killed or end up severely injured physically or mentally and find getting quality care challenging.

I received an education in electronics which I used in civilian life to launch a career. While I was stationed stateside during my service first as an electronics instructor and later as a technician working on a project to support aircraft stationed in Thailand, I did get to expand my horizon and live in areas far from where I grew up in the snow belt of northeastern Ohio. Overall it proved to be a rewarding and worthwhile experience.

So Who Were Those 14 People Standing Behind the President?

?itok=Bcb1PoPN
President Barack Obama delivers a statement to the press on the economy, in the East Room of the White House, Nov. 9, 2012. (Official White House Photo by Sonya N. Hebert)

On Friday, President Obama laid out his strategy for moving our country forward and reducing our deficit in a balanced way.

Speaking from the East Room of the White House, the President was joined by Vice President Joe Biden – and 14 others stood behind him at the podium.

So who were those 14 people anyway? One was Pam, a school administrator. Another, Sara, is a veteran recovering from open-heart surgery. Barry has six children and Steve is an orthopedic assistant. Estela recently became an American citizen and voted in a U.S. election for the first time on Tuesday.

What they all have in common, however, is an interest in helping find answers to some of the big questions we face as a nation. Whether it’s how to create jobs or how to help responsible homeowners or how to balance investments in our future with cutting our deficit, all of these citizens want to participate in the process of getting things done here in Washington.

Each of them had already taken the first step by speaking out about an issue that mattered to them, responding to requests for input on whitehouse.gov
.

The rest..

Don't eff with him. And they will say this was staged, but it wasn't. I passed out once in formation, and I am not the fainting kind. You don't think it can happen to you, but trying to stand still while your blood sugar starts to drop, and trying not to bend your knees will do that. Otherwise, you buckle. The secret is to move around a bit, bending the knees and alternating the leg bearing most of the weight.

And here, for your edification, a summary of the Freeper responses:

1. Most popular theory: this is staged.
2. Alternative Obama hatefest moment: not staged but it's all Obama's fault that she was standing in the "hot" sun, dehydrated and ready to collapse in a permanent coma and wasn't he late OMG he's a horrible excuse for a human being bla bla bla...
3. Hilarious obligatory biblical conspirary theory moment (I quote directly)
"So her "caring husband" allows his wife (who looks large enough to be dropping the babe at any moment) to STAND in a close bunch of warm bodies for a long, tedious speech in the hot sun when she suffers from diabetes....and all this in the exciting, heady, almost orgasmic atmosphere of being in the Messiah's personal nearness. Reminds me of:Revelation 12:1-4

1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. "
