Pope Francis Selling His Harley To Raise Money For Homeless

"ROME (CBSDC) — The pope is selling his hog.

The National Catholic Register reports that Pope Francis is selling his Harley-Davidson motorcycle to raise money to help the homeless in Rome.

“It is a precious gift that has once again made us happy in feeling the closeness of our bishop to the poor of the Church of Rome,” Monsignor Enrico Feroci, director of Caritas Rome, said. “We are deeply grateful to Pope Francis for this.”"

Why doesn't he direct his church to sell off some of their vast art and real estate holdings to actually accomplish something?

But a Pope riding a Harley is a pretty cool image.

Then I can see a whole gang of nuns riding Harleys.

Hell, there's a Tarrantino move in there somewhere.

Psychotronic film catalogs and magazines, such as Film Threat and Incredibly Strange Films would be good sources for researching that

more of a personal sacrifice than selling off vague holdings that really don't impact him emotionally.

So the best answer would be to do both, one for the personal sacrifice and the other for the larger volume of funds it would raise.

I don't see him changing any of the catholic church policies though... They are still the same hateful group they have been forever and I'm not buying any of this 'oh what a great guy to have a beer with' bullshit that keeps getting shoveled out.

Even at a buck a ticket, you could easily make millions since so many people would want a shot at winning the Pope's bike.

The ticket itself would be a keepsake.
