we can do it

I am sick and tired.

I am sick and tired of hearing how companies can't afford their workers while the assholes running them into the ground make exponentially more every year.
I am sick and tired of hearing how companies can't afford to pay for healthcare/benefits while the thieves running them steal pensions from those who have paid into them.
I am sick and tired of Social Security being derisively called an "entitlement" - we paid into it. It belongs to us. Not the rich thieving bastards who haven't been paying us for decades. I am sick and tired of union workers being called greedy....

Republicans have been trying to do this for a long time, and the Democratic Party was what stood in their way.

What has changed is that corporate Democrats no longer stand in the way and instead have decided to join and assist the looting.

... never ever pass up an opportunity to speak for the voiceless. Jog some minds into a thinking mode. But above all, always remember to be tactful about it.

The rescue mission home for men here in my community put out a PSA this week for coats, blankets, warm clothes, new socks and underware this week. I'm not real well, but I'm going to trundle out tomorrow and load up on socks, t-shirts and underware tomorrow and drop it off over there.

We should not let the other side completely subvert the meaning of the word.

Organized labor was the answer. Workers have to be prepared to strike against the companies who are doing this.

Most people aren't aware of the reason for their problems.

The media is telling them it is greedy teachers and other union workers. The media is telling them that the wealthy are job creators. The media is telling them that free trade deals are a net gain for the US. The media is telling them that social security is the driver of the deficit, never once mentioning two unpaid for counterproductive wars and massive tax cuts for the already rich. This is the narrative.

It is the media.

And I'm sick and tired of nominal Democrats supporting bad republican ideas while claiming to be liberal and hiding behind the notion that all opinions are equal and a "big tent" is justification for setting the tent on fire.
