Your daughter and her partner were forced to stay out of sight, and could not be up on stage taking their rightful place ON that stage WITH the rest of your family and all of the bushes as well, celebrating in the spotlight together. As they should have been. But no. They had to be hidden away. Even on THAT night of ALL nights, you couldn't bring your own daughter whom you love, and her partner, up on stage with the rest of HER family to share in that moment - because she's gay. Considering this whole topic from a more personal POV, I have a BIL who is in poor health.

This man, back in the 80s, and perhaps before that, ruined the lives of lots of people. He is a convicted child molester.

One of those little girls was my daughter.

I know that when he dies, I will have to make an appearance, at the wake at least, for the sake of my sister and my two nieces (he has four other daughters and a son from a previous marriage).
