If you read the article it's fucking creepy what the reporter did to Shep's boyfriend. Assuming they have the facts right.

Shep is the only decent person on Fox. He's not perfect. How could he be? Look where he's from, what he was most likely taught about LGBTs and politics. But he has come a long way considering all that, to be watchable on Fox. To sound like he has a brain and a heart on that network.

Before anybody jumps on me for South bashing, I was born in MS. I know what I'm talking about from experience. Not from prejudice. My family is still there. They're still deeply religious. Deeply drinking the tea. I still love them. But it is what it is.

If he is, then this is most certainly news, as it shows the inherent hypocrisy of the haters, the Christian-based "moral majority".

If he's not, then this isn't much news, except perhaps to discuss how he can work for a network that actively works to make his sexual orientation illegal and punishable with jail.

Needless to say, Fox News and its rabid RW audience are very homophobic so it will be interesting to see if this changes their tune at all. Could be a game changer.
