That's the whole point of the law, making it harder for likely Democratic voters to cast ballots.

organizations that help individual voters get to the polls and navigate the system. I would do it if I lived in TX or any other state with such voter suppression laws. But here in CT we have no such suppression for which I am grateful and happy...

it applies to even a known politican like Wendy. I kind of think this is stupid, an affadavit that is when a maiden name doesn't match the one on the rolls.

Poll taxes, literacy tests, etc. But we werent a true democracy. And that is what they want. In fact they need it to have any power.

Those things were before my time - at leastvad adulthood. But they are back. But take heart. It is only because they are losing their power. And we are hitting back as smart and hard as we can in Texas at least. My job is doing it in my precinct.

As MLK said the moral arc is long but it bends toward justice.
