Lazarus, a comic book you might like to read.

Writer Greg Rucka and artist Michael Lark have created a near future dystopia where the world is divided up not into nation-states, but corporate territories. The oligarchies control every thing and people are divided into the families that own the corporations, the servants who work for them, and the vast majority of the population is referred to as Waste.
Though it is structured as a super heroine comic around the main character, Forever Carlyle, (the irony of the family name is not unnoticed) the world they set the story in is our nightmare and the Republican's wet dream.
