5. No. It appears the shooter was not a TSA agent. The shooter is still alive.

The shooter was a 23-year-old with L.A. and New Jersey addresses. Some of the LATimes headlines from today suggested both the shooter and the person killed were TSA agents. That does not appear to be the case.
