(19,964 posts)I suspect she's been watching too much ESPN, where they simply invent the English language as they go along. It's the network of five hundred dollar suits and five cent vocabularies.

Still love her, though!

(5,252 posts)...women work together and get things done. It's biological, i.e., men have too much testosterone. Everyone was in agreement.
Yea!
Which begged the question from one panelist:
Women not only outnumber men but they vote in bigger numbers, as well. So, why does Congress look the way it does? Women have had the numbers to change the makeup of Congress for years.

(115,186 posts)Of those who choose to get married, many end up changing their vote.
I've met several married women who didn't fall in line with this statistic and I hope it becomes more common.

(12,189 posts)Even men have to agree. And it's not being sexist to say it. Misogynists probably wouldn't agree, but I don't think anyone would dignify them as "men."

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
