Imran vows to block Nato supplies in KPKhyber Pakhtunkhwa is one of two key routes Nato supplies move in and out of Afghanistan and is seen as crucial as US-led allied forces prepare to drawdown from the war-torn country in 2014.
Opposition parties in Pakistan have accused the US of using the drone strike to stymie the peace process before talks proper had even started.
Khan, whose party leads the provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said: Even if we lose our provincial government, we will not let Nato supplies pass through as long as drone strikes do not stop.

(40,416 posts)During Queen Victoria's colonial period the British learned how futile it was to tread militarily into Afghanistan. The Soviet Union learned the same, with some help from the USA via Democratic Rep. Charlie Wilson.
Military adventures in Afghanistan have always been a dodgy, often failing, enterprise. Why the USA would ever stay there with aspirations to fix things, astounds me. To stay there for a decade goes far beyond rationality, let alone sensibility.
It boggles the mind why anybody would argue that staying there serves any purpose other than to merely keep ones head above the level of the quicksand.
