3. Now we're back to the inevitable debate over whether it's "fair" to blame the conservative movement.

On one hand, he was clearly suffering a mental breakdown. On the other, if you are crazy enough to buy what these "Patriot" types are selling, then these kinds of attacks become logically necessary. So what we have here is the intersection between a poisonous ideology and and mentally ill people cut loose by the general society.

my only point is that if one is truly convinced that TSA agents are comparable to Nazi storm troopers and concentration camp guards, what he is in the news for having done (not making suicide threats) is indeed rational. And it is why people like Glenn Beck should be shunned and called out for what they are. Inciters of violence.

have made it perfectly clear. Neal Boortz, for example, used to regularly tell his listeners outright not to believe anything they heard on his show unless they had a another, reliable source (in other words, he was telling them that he wasn't a reliable source). Limbaugh calls himself an entertainer. And so on.
