A Craigsville, Va., womans nonchalant reaction has sparked additional outrage after she allowed her 7-year-old son to dress for Halloween in the robes of a Ku Klux Klan member.
Jessica Black of Craigsville told WHSV in Virginia that theres nothing wrong with the costume or the Ku Klux Klan. Its suppose to be white with white. Black with black. Man with woman and all of that.

(30,252 posts)Sheesh. And Jessie's logic is all messed up. If it's supposed to be white with white and black with black, then it only goes to follow that men should be with men. (Which some of you heartily agree with, and there's nothing wrong with that. )

(17,199 posts)The latest in totally irresponsible, totally racist Halloween costumes has come to light in Hyndman, Pennsylvania, where this photo of Pennsylvania men dressing up as the Ku Klux Klan and lynching President Barack Obama was posted on Facebook.
Shared with the Baltimore Sun by (redacted) HERE, this picture sparked instant debate about the racism of the gesture, because some people felt that others should see the humour of a bunch of men dressing up like the KKK and pretending to lynch President Obama, Americas first and current black president. One Hyndman local had this to say about peoples reaction to the photo:

(8,879 posts)and complicit mom did the same to me. I was dressed in a white robe and hood. Given a flashlight attached to a stick to act as a torch, and just to make sure nobody confused me with a ghost or something more innocuous, they marketed the letters K.K.K. across the front of the robe.
I didn't really have any clue what I was supposed to be. I just felt uncomfortable as the unsuspecting neighbors grimaced as they gave candy to the little racist kid.
