Backlash emerges at parents who allowed child to dress as Klansman for Halloween

A Craigsville, Va., woman’s nonchalant reaction has sparked additional outrage after she allowed her 7-year-old son to dress for Halloween in the robes of a Ku Klux Klan member.

Jessica Black of Craigsville told WHSV in Virginia that there’s nothing wrong with the costume or the Ku Klux Klan. “It’s suppose to be white with white. Black with black. Man with woman and all of that.”

Sheesh. And Jessie's logic is all messed up. If it's supposed to be white with white and black with black, then it only goes to follow that men should be with men. (Which some of you heartily agree with, and there's nothing wrong with that. )

this kid wises up like those two girls: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prussian_Blue

They went from full on white supremacists to genuine liberals once they grew up and got out into the real world.

The latest in totally irresponsible, totally racist Halloween costumes has come to light in Hyndman, Pennsylvania, where this photo of Pennsylvania men dressing up as the Ku Klux Klan and lynching President Barack Obama was posted on Facebook.

Shared with the Baltimore Sun by (redacted) HERE, this picture sparked instant debate about the “racism” of the gesture, because some people felt that others should see the humour of a bunch of men dressing up like the KKK and pretending to lynch President Obama, America’s first and current black president. One Hyndman local had this to say about people’s reaction to the photo:

Sometimes, I think electing our first black president only made it easier for people to become openly racist.

Not so much BECOME. They were already racist.

And not PEOPLE in general, but REPUBLICANS.

Yes, nauseating. And frightening.

and complicit mom did the same to me. I was dressed in a white robe and hood. Given a flashlight attached to a stick to act as a torch, and just to make sure nobody confused me with a ghost or something more innocuous, they marketed the letters K.K.K. across the front of the robe.

I didn't really have any clue what I was supposed to be. I just felt uncomfortable as the unsuspecting neighbors grimaced as they gave candy to the little racist kid.

An area where the clock is still stuck in antebellum Virginia time. Drove through there a couple of weeks ago and there were Cuccinelli signs all over the place. The Klan still has strongholds in western Virginia. Believe me, I speak from firsthand experience.

Since Eric Cartman wasn't allowed to dress up as Hitler for Halloween, what do you think of his ghost costume?
