and all they want to keep hidden. Why do we spend SO much on the NSA when our own military need food stamps to feed their families at the commisary? I have seen young military families using food stamps at the Commisary... How totally f'd up is THAT? And we have to cut SNAP by billions, yet there is NO mention of cutting the NSA budget? Really?

Now THAT is totally fucked up.

Who sacrificed a great deal personally to expose the excesses of the burgeoning US surveillance state.

I wonder who here would have had a single bad thing to say about him had Bush still been president while this all came out?

"A flawed but basically good and warm-hearted man trying to make his way in this strange world"

In fact, I saw him crotching beaded kewpie dolls to raise money for hungry children in Africa. I think that's what's in those cardboard boxes in his garage.

Or would have but you missed those particular insults when creating this push-poll.

I have trouble understanding anyone who would call themselves "struggle4progress" spending so much time and energy posting apologies for a corrupt organization that even the Obama administration has said is out of control.

Why is it more important for you to persecute a whistleblower than to prosecute a criminal agency?

until i read further and found

"Clueless libertarian ideologue still in need of adult supervision"

Which probably nails it, although I'm not completely convinced he wasn't at some point co-opted by either the Bush/CIA to do damage to the NSA and/or Obama or Russia/Putin to get back at us for outing one of their agents not long ago.

... the subject of obsession by an unhealthy number of DU stalkers, whose lives seems incomplete if they can't make snide comments about him. Still, I suppose this keeps them off the streets, so they can't do things to people in real life.
