Top Ten Conservative Idiots of the Week

WARNING: VERY CAUSTIC LANGUAGE. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE SWEARING, DO NOT READ THIS ARTICLE.

The controversial EDITION

The GOP infighting has gotten worse (1) and it is so fun to watch the rats eat each other. People need stock in Popcorn futures for this. In addition to that, John McCain and Lindsay Graham continue their march towards irrelevancy (5), Marsha Blackburn wants to protect people’s right to buy cheap shoes (!) (7) and John Stossel proves his mustache is the smartest thing on his body (10). Finally, a contraversial entry to the list that will probably make a few people angry, but when a Democrat is wrong, they need to be called on it, and Diane Feinstein is completely wrong (2). And as always, don't forget the key. Remember, you can run your mouse over the icon to see what it means.

The Civil War grows. It takes on all people and and tears apart all things. A once proud political party steeped in principles and ideas has come down to being in an argument as to which side will control. . .the conservative side, the wingnut side or the insane side. There should be pity for this party, but honestly, most people with a brain would have more pity for a killed off cancer cell than the GOP’s march to Whig Party status.

We start this week looking former GOP presidential candidate and Pennsylvania Senator Lil’ Ricky Santorum (R-Frothy Mix) who went on Meet the Press and complained that, because of the Tea Party, the GOP is now completely leaderless and that the hours of mindless Ted Talk did more harm than good.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Rick Santorum, the man who thinks the television show "Will and Grace" is to blame for the recent influx of same-sex marriage legislation, believes U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) did the Republican party no favors during the federal government shutdown. Santorum, the former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania and Republican presidential candidate, said Sunday that Cruz, in his attempt to gut President Barack Obama's health care law, "did more harm" than good. "I think it was not his objective," Santorum said during an appearance on NBC News' Meet the Press. "I think his objective was a laudable one. I think he didn't do a very good job in planning it out. I mean, there's one thing to have a goal, and another thing to have a plan to get you to that goal, and he didn't figure that out."

This was on NBC with perennial soft-ball tosser David Gregory. Shocked doesn’t begin to describe how one should feel. Gregory than asked Ricky (R-Lame Sweaters) about the State of the GOP.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]When host David Gregory asked Santorum to what extent he thought Cruz served as the face of the current conservative movement, Santorum replied that "there isn't a leader in the Republican party right now."

How would rank and file Republicans take to this news that one of their tea party psychopaths might be having second thoughts? Not well, and I warn you to get soap and lye before viewing that link. Here are a few coments:

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]01: Okay - you were warned all during 2011-12 that Santorum was a pro life liberal....an establishment tool.....a very shaky record on all non social issues....and a self serving political social climber. There were clearly those of us on FR who knew and warned, and those who thought we were crazy. Mea culpas accepted, but not expected.

02: Santorum needs to shut up and go away. He is a blowhard loser has been.

03: And yet, as some of us tried to point out.....time and time and time again...this is who Santorum is. He’s not that smart. He’s not that talented. He’s not that reliable. Never has been.04: This is where some conservatives go off the rails...an I suspect the same ones off the rails with Huck in 08 (you know who you are) were off with Ricky in 12. Thumping the Bible the loudest and the most often does not mean you are the best conservative....NEVER has meant that. I say that, and I’m a Bible beleiving Reagan Tea Party base type conservative....

05. Go change your sweater, Rick.

06. Santorum, et al, are self-destructing. The silent majority will be calling for a new CONSERVATIVE party to get back to a real Constitutional Republic. All the RINOs can do is criticize conservatives. They are gutless cowards just worrying about their country clubs and golden perks.07. Losers — need to be replaced. At least Cruz tried. Way more than can be said for the RINO lefties.

08. Taking his dead baby home was the end of the line for me.

Doesn’t seem like Ricky is too popular with the Tea Party. . .time to get the “RINO” out of the party. Did anyone ever think they’d wake up to hear Rick Santorum called a RINO? When did the US enter Bizzaro World? BTW, did to read some of the freepers’ comments? “Establishment?” “Silent Majority?” “gutless cowards?” “Country clubs?” These people sound like ANSWER people now. . .Freepers have COME FULL CIRCLE!!! They are now anarchists using the same language as ANSWER.

Alot of these crap can be put on the shoulders of three men: Rug Doctor Rand Paul, Texas uber-loon Ted Cruz and Utah gasbag Mike Lee. The latter, Mr. Lee, has decided to tell people on the right what they want to hear: That self-delusional pablum that makes good fiction and even better horror for anyone not on the right and with at least a 1/4 of a functional brain (which is about 80% of the country). Please proceed, “Senator.” And I use that phrase very loosely. “Scumsucker” would be be better three syllable title for Mike Lee.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Utah Sen. Mike Lee said Tuesday that the turmoil he and others have fomented in the Republican Party is all part of a Reaganesque revolution that will return the GOP to its glory days. “The gaping hole in the middle of the Republican party today, the one that separates the grass roots from the establishment leaders, is precisely the size and shape of a new unifying conservative reform agenda,” Lee said in a speech Tuesday at the Heritage Foundation. “The establishment will not produce that agenda.” In the speech entitled “What’s Next for Conservatives,” Lee characterized his leading role in the government shutdown as part of a touchstone moment for Republicans fed up with party leaders who have strayed too far from conservative ideals.

So, now he’s Ronnie Raygun? Soon, the media will call him the messiah, the second coming of Jesus. I’ll respond to Lee’s question “What’s next for conservatives.” LOSING MORE ELECTIONS, just like the one you lost in New Jersey.

Still, all is not lost. Maybe old guard Republicans can get together with old guard Republicans and see eye to eye. Mike Enzi of Wyoming thinks that because Enzi recalled that the two bonded over fly-fishing, when they “were on the same team competing in a popular annual One Fly tournament – fishing with the same fly lure all day – in the Snake River.” Wow, that sounds fun (it is. I love fly fishing). Sadly, Dick Cheney (R-Death Star) [http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/10/dick-cheney-slams-sen-mike-enzi-on-fundraising-says-they-arent-fishing-buddies/|recall it that way] at all.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]“Mike has a record, if you go back and review his finances, of getting about 84 percent of his campaign funds from Washington-based PACs. That’s more than any senator of either party. He doesn’t get much money from Wyoming,” Cheney told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week” Sunday. “In the quarter just reported, Liz got 25 percent of her funds from Wyoming; he got 13 percent of his from Wyoming. She outraised him in the last quarter, over a million dollars in the first quarter out there.” Cheney also took Enzi to task for reportedly saying that the pair are fishing buddies. “Mike also said he and I are fishing buddies, which is simply not true. Never happened,” Cheney said.

Relax, Mike of Fatland. . .maybe Dick will take you hunting when his daughter’s campaign sinks. We all know he loves to hunt.

But, as civil wars go, this one gets funnier by the minute. On Oct 16th, 27 GOP senators broke ranks with their party (meaning there are really only 18 tea party toads in the Senate) can voted to raise the debt ceiling. This is good. They came to their senses. Well, not quite.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Twenty-seven Republican senators voted with Democrats on Oct. 16 to lift the debt ceiling and avert a catastrophic default. And each one of those 27 senators voted Tuesday to "disapprove" of their own votes. The vote Tuesday was a symbolic "resolution to disapprove" of the debt limit hike. It was mandated by the deal thanks to a last-minute provision inserted by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). The motion failed 45-54 because all Democrats opposed it.

Umm, what? Why? Is this shit really necessary? So, other than rank hypocrisy, we have a side of stupid and meaningless to go. How does this party get votes at all???

One of those Republicans that “disapproved” their vote after voting is Lamar Alexander (R-Who). He voted for the disapproval of his vote to increase the debt limit because he’s tired of the tea party and wants the GOP to be part of the [line:http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/26/lamar-alexander-tea-party_n_4166442.html|I'm In The Take-Charge-Of-The-Government Crowd]. What?

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]In a wide-ranging interview with the Washington Post published Friday, Alexander offered an inside look into how he worked to help broker a deal to reopen the government, distancing himself from the tea party in the process. “If all we do is stand around handing each other score cards, we won’t get anything done,” Alexander said. “That’s why, in the current health-care debate, I’m not in the shut-down-the-government crowd. I’m in the take-charge-of-the-government crowd, and get something done.”

Like voting to disapprove a vote you made? This works. Why do we know about this crap at all?

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]As he gears up for his 2014 reelection bid, Alexander is already in a race with tea party overtones. Back in July, he faced protests over his decision to vote for immigration reform, dismissing the jeers with an "I didn't hear anything they said." Later in August, he received a letter from 20 tea party and conservative groups, asking him to retire, while criticizing his "compromise and bipartisanship."

Oh, I see. Time to make yourself look better to those who aren’t frothing at the mouth psychopaths. Those same psychopaths will primary your ass next year, Lamar. Better start pandering because your power is more important than the country.

Interestingly enough, the party is falling apart. Why, down in North Carolina, it seems GOP candidates are dropping like flies and switching parties. Jason Thigpen is running against complete loser Walter Jones who, amazingly enough, switched his party from Democratic to Republican in 1994 after losing in a Democratic primary in 1992, according to Wikipedia.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]“I simply cannot stand with a party where its most extreme element promote hate and division amongst people,” Thigpen said in a statement posted to his campaign website Thursday. “Nothing about my platform has, nor will it change. The government shutdown was simply the straw that broke the camels back. I guess being an American just isn’t good enough anymore and I refuse to be part of an extremist movement in the GOP that only appears to thrive on fear and hate mongering of anyone and everyone who doesn’t walk their line.”

I have to agree with Rick Santorum. The GOP is leaderless. Except if you count Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan and Rush Limbaugh. But those are leaders that will lead the GOP down the toilet.

So keep following them, GOP. 2014 will turn BRIGHT BLUE!!!

This will be the most controversial entry ever on the Top Ten, dating back all the way to 2001 when the list started. Only three other Democrats or Democratic-supporters have been mentioned on this list: Ralph Nader, Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman. And most on DU support 95% of Ralph Nader’s positions (except he enabled the Chimp to steal the election in 2000 and the rest is sad history). But, Dianne Feinstein deserves recognition this week for her blazing support of George Bush era policies on spying on Americans.

We first begin with her attempts to torpedo Patrick Leahy’s bill to stop the NSA from spying on American citizens. DiFi is all for warrantless spying on Americans. Strike #1, Senator.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday, Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) said he will push legislation to end the NSA's controversial program to collect records on all U.S. phone calls. He argued that the program invades Americans' privacy rights while doing little to thwart terrorist attacks. But Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, argued that the phone data program is critical for protecting national security. "I will do everything I can to prevent this program from being canceled," Feinstein said during the hearing.

National Security? Give me a break. Terrorist in the toilet these days like Communists in the toilet in the 1920s and 1950s. Who are you, Palmer and McCarthy?

What is the reason for trying to torpedo any attempt to end this illegal snooping by the NSA? Well, because according to DiFi, it’s not surveillance.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Dianne Feinstein, the chair of the US Senate committee charged with holding the intelligence establishment to account, declared on Monday that the National Security Agency’s mass collection of phone records is “not surveillance” and should be maintained as an essential tool to combat terrorism. Feinstein made the case for retaining the program, which routinely collects and stores the phone records millions of Americans, in an op-ed for USA Today, in which she wrote that the NSA’s work had been “effective in helping to prevent terrorist plots against the US and our allies”. Feinstein, a Democrat from California, is introducing legislation that would make superficial alterations to the NSA and the secret courts that are supposed to provide judicial oversight. But her bill stops short of making any substantial changes to the way the agency conducts its work, despite the string of revelations based on disclosures by the former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

How is it not surveillance, DiFi? Tell all Americans how? The government can tap our phones, read our emails. . .I’m surprised the government doesn’t force people to submit stool and urine samples these days (wait, they do if you are on welfare). Listen, Senator. . .if it smells like shit, looks like shit and comes out of someone’s ass, it’s shit. Calling it a nice name like feces or “#2” doesn’t change the fact that it’s a lump of shit! Understand? Don’t think you do.

So, what does she do? Tries to get all of the data set in stone but submitting bills to codify the NSA’s snooping. Honestly, this woman’s lost her damn mind!

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]California Sen. Dianne Feinstein has set up a clash with another powerful senior Democrat and drawn criticism from civil libertarians on the left and right for her defense of a national security program that collects Americans' telephone records. The role is a familiar one for Feinstein, whose pro-law enforcement outlook has persisted from her days on a women's parole board and her tenure as San Francisco mayor. Now it's in full evidence in her leadership of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, which oversees the U.S. spy apparatus. "I do not want to leave the United States in a position where we are open to another major attack because we can't ferret out who terrorists might be calling in this country to put it together," Feinstein said in an interview. Her committee is drafting legislation to codify the phone records program, the existence of which was leaked in June by National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden. The legislation would grant the agency explicit authority to gather records listing the numbers, duration and time of all U.S. telephone calls, but not their content.

How much did you campaign to keep Dan White in prison for murdering George Moscone and the man that helped you attain your position, Harvey Milk, DiFi? Seems like you care about law enforcement issues when authoritarians can grab more power.

But, you do have supporters. Because the supporters of NSA snooping also believe the US should snoop on world leader. So, DiFi, let me introduce you to one of your snooping supporters. I’m sure you will work for his endorsement. His name: Dick Cheney.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Former Vice President Dick Cheney on Monday defended the NSA's alleged practice of monitoring the phone conversations of foreign leaders. "We do have a fantastic intelligence capability, worldwide against all kinds of potential issues and concerns," Cheney said in an interview with CNN. "We are vulnerable, as was shown on 9/11, and you never know what you're going to need when you need it." Cheney said that the intelligence gathered on foreign leaders and other countries is valuable to help the government address various issues. "We do collect a lot of intelligence. Without speaking about any particular target or group of targets, that intelligence capability is enormously important to the United States, to our conduct in foreign policy, to defense matters, economic matters, and I'm a strong supporter of it," Cheney said.

Congrats, Senator. . .you can the heartless cyborg agree with each other. Snooping should be done on Americans and on foreign leaders too. Hell, I think, right now in Ottawa, Stephen Harper is planning to attack the US with another William Shatner. And Australia us thinking of sending another Yahoo Serious or Crocodile Dundee movie here. Better ramp it up, DiFi.

But. . .no. DiFi doesn’t like that kind of snooping. In fact, she is against spying on our allies. I am so confused.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Senator Dianne Feinstein, the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee and a steadfast defender of the National Security Agency’s domestic surveillance programs, said she is “totally opposed” Monday to the agency spying on allied countries. “Unless the United States is engaged in hostilities against a country or there is an emergency need for this type of surveillance, I do not believe the United States should be collecting phone calls or emails of friendly presidents and prime ministers. The president should be required to approve any collection of this sort,” Feinstein said. The NSA’s foreign spying activities have come under close scrutiny in recent days, after documents leaked by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden revealed the agency had eavesdropped on the cell phones of at least 35 leaders of foreign governments, possibly including German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Feinstein said “the Senate Intelligence Committee was not satisfactorily informed” of the NSA’s policy of spying on allied leaders and that “a total review of all intelligence programs” is in order.

Ummm. . .what? Now you’re against snooping, so long as it’s done against foreigners and foreign leaders? Why? Because she is totally opposed to it.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Senate Intelligence Chair Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said Monday that she is "totally opposed" to surveilling allied leaders, amid reports that the National Security Agency has been monitoring German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other U.S. allies. The revelations require a "total review of intelligence programs," Feinstein said in a statement. “Unlike NSA’s collection of phone records under a court order, it is clear to me that certain surveillance activities have been in effect for more than a decade and that the Senate Intelligence Committee was not satisfactorily informed," she said. "Therefore our oversight needs to be strengthened and increased."

My head is spinning. Please continue. Maybe you can make it stop, DiFi.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Feinstein added that it was "a big problem" that President Obama was not aware of the surveillance. The administration has assured Feinstein that the surveillance would not continue, she said. “Unless the United States is engaged in hostilities against a country or there is an emergency need for this type of surveillance, I do not believe the United States should be collecting phone calls or emails of friendly presidents and prime ministers. The president should be required to approve any collection of this sort."

So there you have it, folks. If the president approves it, it’s good and she will support it. The president is now God on Earth and the stroke of his pens makes all illegal, unconstitutional, immoral and just play un-American things perfectly acceptable.

Welcome to being the fourth Democrat on the list in 12 years, DiFi. You earned it with your hypocritical idea that it’s okay to snoop on Americans, but you get your knickers in a wad when the NSA does it to foreign leaders. She has given American the middle finger and said to accept the snooping being done against us and will work to codify it. . .but she. . .I can’t do this. Can’t you just retire already, 80 year old DiFi, so we can get a real Democrat?

Last week, the GOP decided it’s time to screw the poor even more by gutting the food assistance program known as SNAP. Nothing helps an economy or people than starving them to death because the price of food has sky rocketed.

But the Republicans love this idea.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]After stripping food stamp funding from a still languishing farm bill and lusting to cut $40 billion of food assistance for the poor, Republicans can rejoice this coming Friday 48 million people, including more than 21 million children, will see their SNAP (food stamp) benefits reduced. The cuts are coming because the President’s fiscal stimulus of 2009 is running out and Republicans have no intention to extend the food assistance because besides killing Americans’ jobs, keeping people hungry is their favorite activity.

Break out the Filet Mignon, the Caviar and the top notch vodka. Oh, and call in some top flight hookers and maybe a few celebrities, because after we’re done fucking the country, we need to get our rocks off!

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Republicans have been on a tear to take nutritional assistance from poor Americans since they took control of the House after the 2010 midterms when Paul Ryan submitted, and submitted again, a Heritage Foundation-approved budget that included SNAP program cuts of $135 billion which would completely end assistance for millions of low-income families. The budget that every Republican voted for twice adversely affects low-income working families with children, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities, because like an efficient animal extermination strategy, Republicans believe it is important to cull the weakest and most vulnerable Americans from the population first to make room for the next group to go; the middle class that is falling into poverty at an alarming rate.

Because we all know that a country of the very rich and the very poor is safe, stable and never had rebellions. Break out more vodka and hookers! I think David Vitter knows where we can find good ones! We fucked so many poor people!!!

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]There is a secondary benefit for Republicans cutting food stamp funding that often goes unnoticed but fits neatly in their well-planned assault on the people since they elected an African American President. Republicans love taking food out of the mouths of hungry children and senior citizens, but they get an extra benefit because each dollar of food stamps infuses over $1.70 of spending into the economy that creates jobs. If there is only one thing the GOP loves more than taking food from Americans it is killing jobs. It really is an elegant plan to decimate the population because killing jobs with drastic food stamp cuts will send more Americans into poverty to wonder where their family’s next meal is coming from and if Republicans have their way it will not be coming at all.

Couldn’t say it better myself. Don’t forget loving fetuses and hating children is another of their favorite things. Oh. . .and loving the soldier and hating the veteran. Finally, loving America but hating Americans. Go figure. How do these people get votes?

Well, now, it’s time to look at the idiots from Texas. No, not the Bush family. . .the Cruz family; the newest embarrassment for a state that is one of the leaders of the US marching back to the 16th century.

Let’s look at a few comments from Pappa Booze Cruz, Rafael Cruz.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]In April, Rafael Cruz, the father of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), spoke to the tea party of Hood County, which is southwest of Fort Worth, and made a bold declaration: The United States is a "Christian nation." The septuagenarian businessman turned evangelical pastor did not choose to use the more inclusive formulation "Judeo-Christian nation."

Christian, huh? That would surprise all Jews, Muslims, Hindus and non-fundie Protestants out there. And, BTW, Christian. Does that include Catholics, Mormons, Quakers and the Amish, or just evangelical loons like you that thing God has them on their speaker phone speed dial?

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Insisting that the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution "were signed on the knees of the framers" and were a "divine revelation from God," he went on to say, "yet our president has the gall to tell us that this is not a Christian nation…The United States of America was formed to honor the word of God."

Umm. . .the United States was formed on land stolen by the people who were already here, and then a rebellion over money caused a nearly seven year war, buddy. Stick to that bible. Leave history to people that have brains.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Seven months earlier, Rafael Cruz, speaking to the North Texas Tea Party on behalf of his son, who was then running for Senate, called President Barack Obama an "outright Marxist" who "seeks to destroy all concept of God," and he urged the crowd to send Obama "back to Kenya."

Hey, assclown, can we send you back to Cuba? Can we send your Fascism back to whatever pit of Hell from where you crawled out?

But, not to be out done, his clueless wastrel of a son, Ted Talk Crus, decided to step into the SYG debate with none other than Trayon Martin’s mother, Sabrina Fulton. And the results were a foregone conclusion.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) came face-to-face with Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, on Capitol Hill during a Tuesday hearing on “Stand Your Ground” laws. After offering his condolences to Fulton, Cruz told the mother that the self-defense laws are not racist because they help blacks as much as whites, if not more.

Let’s see that fly in a court of law. I’m sure if a black man Stood Their Ground, they will stand in prison jumpsuits and then have the ground they stood upon on top of them after they are buried after their lethal injection for murder. Don’t believe that would happen in this county? Again, google “George Stinney,” “Rodney King,” “Hurricane Carter” or any other black person railroaded into prison or execution.

Please continue, asshole.

Hmm. . .for me, that seems like a jab at Sabrina Fulton, who is using the murder (yes murder) of Trayvon Martin to get SYG laws repealed. And he is insulting the poor woman by saying she is exploiting her son. John Walsh has done that for years with that “cops can do not wrong” show “America’s Most Wanted,” which was another attempt to get Americans to think they would be shot and murdered by thugs if they stepped out of their houses.

Go on, Ted (R-Scumbag).

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]“We know that some in our political process have a desire to exploit that tragic, violent incident for agendas that have nothing to do with that young man who lost his life. We have seen efforts to undermine the verdict of the jury and, more broadly, to inflame racial tensions that I think are sad and irresponsible,” the Texas senator added. Cruz went on to refute the “remarkable” allegation that Stand Your Ground laws do not protect black communities.

That’s a shot at Obama, who said if he had a son, the son would look like Trayvon. What is remarkable is this man still has a job?

And he’s now being viewed as a front runner for the GOP nomination for president in 2016. Between him, Paul, King and Christie, it will be a fun time to see who can out bully and out stupid the next. My money is on Ted. . .he just has stupid down to perfection.

Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is now threatening to block every single nomination from the Obama administration until he gets what he wants on Benghazi — again. On Sunday evening, CBS’ 60 Minutes aired a new report on the attack in Benghazi, Libya that took place last year, examining the nature of the attack, which analysts are now calling pre-planned. This differs greatly from the early days and weeks after the attack, when members of the administration were still attempting to find out what went wrong and what led to the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.

He is going down this scandal free road again to try and build up a scandal where a scandal does not exist. Where were you with the lies that cost the lives of countless American and Iraq people in the Bush Iraq War? Where were your calls for investigations? Oh, I forgot. . .there were known. I’m going to block every appointment in the United States Senate until the survivors are being made available to the Congress. I’m tired of hearing from people on TV and reading about stuff in books.

"That's the only way we get their attention," McCain told the Journal. "It's the only way we get any response."

That’s the only way we get their attention, John? How about not hating a man that beat you, growing up and running the country not like your own private warzone? How about a little straight talk about that from the rest of us who think you’re a complete idiot? What was your campaign slogan? Partyy First?

Nice bed fellows. Rand Paul. . .of the shut down the government because Obama is a mean black man that wants to insure Americans don’t die in poverty because they have to go see a doctor.

This rejection fever hit a head when when the other Texas uber-loon Jon Cornyn (R-Bush Licker) told the world that the entire GOP would block three judicial nominees to the DC Circuit Court of Appeals because they don’t like the nominee. Speak it, Jon-boy.

Backed by House colleagues and GOP attorneys general from around the country, Senate Republican leaders are whipping opposition to advancing the nomination of Patricia Millett -- or anyone else -- for the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, which is one notch below the Supreme Court and often has the final word on matters of executive authority. "This week, Sen. Reid has teed up President Obama's court-packing plan for the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, a court that some people call the second most important court in the nation," Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn (R-TX) told reporters. "The last thing we need to do when money is tight ... is throw more money at unneeded judges on this court, in an attempt to simply pack the court in order to tilt that court ideologically in a way that favors the big government agenda of the Obama administration." "We intend to stop it," he said.

Remember when Thomas, Alito and Roberts (and Harriet Miers) were nominated and the Democrats threatened this under Bush and how much the Republicans got their panties in a twist over it, claiming the sole job of the Senate was “advise and consent.” Well, apparently, when a black Democrat is in the White House, the job of the Senate is to “obstruct and deny.”

People who run for office are supposed to be the best and most mature of all of us. Republicans must have forgotten that little tidbit because they seem to like the word “Asshole.” Cheney used it to describe a New York Times reporter before telling Patrick Leahy to “go fuck himself.” And now, it’s Tom Coburn (R-Nuthouse) to step up and talk about an anal orifice.

Apparently Tommy doesn’t like Harry. And decided to tell that to people at the New York Young Republican Club. Using very childish ideas.

Tom Coburn was clear Monday about certain Democrats he doesn’t get along with, calling Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid an “absoulte a—hole,” according to a report. “I have great relationships with Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). I don’t say that in Oklahoma,” Coburn (R-Okla.) said at a gala at the New York Young Republican Club, the New York Daily News reported. “There’s no comity with Harry Reid (D-Nev.). I think he’s an absolute a—hole,”he said. The name-calling came after Coburn was asked about working across party lines. The Oklahoma senator reportedly listed a few other Democrats in addition to Schumer that he works well with.

So, now Harry Reid is an absolute asshole? Now, I have my issues with Harry Reid dealing with his jelly like spine, but I don’t feel, as do many people, that he is an asshole. He strikes most people as a rather laid back, easy going, sweet man who has been put in a tough position of dealing with three or four political ideologies at once. He is like Eisenhower during WW2.

But, NTS, you use the same language. You call people assholes all the time here, especially gundamentalists and badge sniffers. The response to anyone who says that defending Tom Coburn: “I am not a public official.”

Let’s use a Vanity Fair article to go over a few of Tommy’s words from the past:

Animal torturer and murderer. Nice. Ted Bundy did the same thing. Not that I’m calling Tom Coburn a serial killer, but there is no proof saying he isn’t. Wow, I learned that trick from Fixed Noise.

Realizing the asshole was wrong for calling Harry Reid and ashole, the asshole went to the safety haven of Fox and Friends and “apologized” for his asshole comment to the three assholes on that pathetic show made by, with and for assholes.

Okay. . .I’ll bite. Senator, I’m sorry “if” my language of calling you, your party, those three dorks (sorry again) on Fox and Friends “assholes” offended anyone. I’m sorry “if” calling you are fucking troll that needs to resign or retire before he continues embarrassing the country is also offensive to anyone out there. Finally, I apologize “if”. . .screw that. I apologize for nothing. These people want to see asshole? Look in a damn mirror.

Harry Reid, however, had the last word. And it is one of the most brutal, tasteful and harsh smackdowns in a long time. Just classic Harry Reid.

“Some people like to drive a Ford, not a Ferrari,” Blackburn had quipped at the hearing. “And some people like to drink out of a red Solo cup, not a crystal stem. You’re taking away their choice.”

Ummm. . .what? Give a chance, people would probably all like to drive a Ferrari. And drink out of crystal stems. Ford suck and a red Solo cup? Are you now a rapper hawking products in your speeches and songs? See, that’s called a level playing field, Marshie. And it’s what Obamacare partially attempts to give. It’s step one to the final act, single payer health care that all industrialized nations have, save the US and China.

Obamacare does not take away their choice to get and use crap. If people like crap, they can bath in it. But now, if they have a beer budget, they can be able to afford something more than crap. I know. . .I know. . .Republicans hate that. Alan Grayson put it best. Suck it up. . .you lost, Marsha!

Listen, harpie. Again. . .the ACA doesn’t do that. But please continue.

Congresscritters need IQ tests. . .but for Marsha to take one, she would need to grow a brain. I think Obamacare cover brain surgery.

Dave Heineman is a moron. For those who don’t know, that’s the current Republican governor of Nebraska. He has appointed a group called Climate Assessment and Response Committee to study climate change and recommend a bill. It is never good when a Republican commissions a climate change study. For all we know, something about the Devil and sponge cakes may cause it.

So, the study went forward. But there is a problem. No scientist will touch it, meaning it has absolutely no value or merit.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]A study on the impact of climate change on Nebraska, recently approved by the state, may not be carried out — because its own scientists are refusing to be a part of it. The problem, according to members of the governor-appointed Climate Assessment and Response Committee, is that the bill behind the study specifically calls for the researchers to look at “cyclical” climate change. In so doing, it completely leaves out human contributions to global warming. At a discussion yesterday, the Omaha World-Herald Bureau reports, Barbara Mayes, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, pointed out that “cyclical” isn’t even a scientific term. And it’s not just a misuse of language: State Sen. Beau McCoy, who added the word to the bill, is a known climate denier. “I don’t subscribe to global warming,” McCoy said during an earlier debate about the legislation. ”I think there are normal, cyclical changes.”

So this idiot, Beau McCoy will keep going forward with it even though scientists told him that he’s full of crap. Typical fundie.

Someone needs to tell Barbara Hayes that scientific language means nothing to fundie idiots. God created scientific language. He can use it, change it, cancel it as he pleases. It amazes me that these “apostles of science,” with all their supposed knowledge fail to grasp that simple fact. (I stole that from Inherit the Wind).

Next up will be a repudiation of Galileo and the entire movement of science since the beginning of time. Just say “God did it.”

Fields said that as an African American man he finds slavery reprehensible but saw the post as a reminder that the Republican Party started as an abolitionist party, at a time when Democrats supported slavery.

Although he said the posting would have benefited from further explanation, he added: "I’m not going to condemn that posting.

Seriously? You’re black and you don’t find the posting that offensive? It must not be that bad then.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]

I stand corrected.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]
John Stossel and Steve Doocy
[div style="display:inline-block; padding-left:0.3077em;" title="Batshit Crazy"] [div style="display:inline-block; padding-left:0.3077em;" title="Lame"] [div style="display:inline-block; padding-left:0.3077em;" title="Misogyny"] [div style="display:inline-block; padding-left:0.3077em;" title="Dumb"]

And finally, the News Mustache that is John Stossel is back and dumber than ever, this time with Fixed Noise resident twit Steve Doocy.

The decided to complain about the ACA again, rehashing disproven talking points like good little propagandists do. Let’s listen in:
[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]During an appearance on Fox & Friends, John Stossel asserted to host Steve Doocy that President Barack Obama’s health care reform law “just kills the market” by mandating that women can no longer be charged more than men for insurance. “The competition of the market is the only thing that makes things better,” he explained. “Yesterday, President Obama stood in front of a bunch of women in Massachusetts and said, ‘No longer will those evil insurance companies be able to charge you women more.’”

Yes, how dare there be equality in insurance coverage? I mean, honestly. . .there’s a glass ceiling with pretty much everything. Why not with how much someone pays to get life saving medical care? Besides, if those wenches wanted cheap health insurance, they should have been born penised.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]“Women go to the doctor much more often than men! Maybe they’re smarter or maybe they’re hypochondriacs,”Stossel continued. “They live longer. Who knows? But if it’s insurance, you ought to be able to charge people who use the services more, more.”

Excuse me? I pay premiums, Johnny. This isn’t a phone. This is life and death. So, following your logic, someone born with a genetic disease should be charged into bankruptcy because they use their insurance alot? You honestly believe this shit? Of course you do, you’re John Stossel, News Mustache.

Step up, Steve Douchey. . .give us your turds of wisdom on the subject.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]“But, John, you’re not paying attention,” Doocy said sarcastically. “This administration, this president wants to make everything fair. It’s not fair if you pay less than she does… And as a number of Republicans have made the argument, why should I pay for — I’m in my 60s, why should I pay for your maternity coverage?”

Yes, those two asshats said that.

I don’t drive on your roads. My taxes shouldn’t pay for your roads in NY. Nor for a military I don’t use, police I don’t need and anything else I don’t like. My taxes should only pay for me. That’s how it should go.

Fixed Noise: We talk out of our ass, our viewers swallow our shit.

See you next week.

PS: In order to be fair to our Southerner who accused me of having an anti-Southerner bias in the article, here is a head count:

6 = Number of southerners on the list (southerner meaning those from states that seceded from the Union in 1860)

10 = Number of non-southerners on the list
