Your jaw will drop after reading this..

This is perhaps the scariest thing I have read in years.

This is so fucked up..

Just so fucked up!!!

From Daily Kos....Link below snip.. It gets so unimaginable..

The incident began January 2, 2013 after David Eckert finished shopping at the Wal-Mart in Deming. According to a federal lawsuit, Eckert didn't make a complete stop at a stop sign coming out of the parking lot and was immediately stopped by law enforcement.
Eckert's attorney, Shannon Kennedy, said in an interview with KOB that after law enforcement asked him to step out of the vehicle, he appeared to be clenching his buttocks. Law enforcement thought that was probable cause to suspect that Eckert was hiding narcotics in his anal cavity. While officers detained Eckert, they secured a search warrant from a judge that allowed for an anal cavity search.

It was my understanding they took him to a hospital and the first doctor refused because it was unethical. So they took him to a second one and the docs there did the procedures. It didn't have complete details of all the horrific things he had to go through. But not only should the LEOs be canned, the docs should be stripped of their license as well. But then again, we don't punish torture docs either. This whole story just turns my stomach. I can see why the populace is so damned afraid. This is starting to read like a modern-day Spanish Inquisition.

Imagine of all doctors and cops were ethical? What a different society this would be. But we have doctors who participated in torture, still practicing. War criminals who committed major War Crimes, still being treated like elder statespersons, Wall St. criminals who cheated and engaged in such massive corruption they collapsed the economies of the world, still doing what they were doing before and not only were they not held accountable, they were REWARDED.

So is it any wonder that this kind of obscene, disgusting behavior would occur without any fear of consequences in a society filled with support for War Criminals and Torturers.

If you are honestly trying to learn, right here in this thread would be a good place to start.

"Some of us might be trying to learn and as of yet have not picked up all the particulars..."

Here are some particulars: I don't come here to click on a link only to find yet another link to blindly click. Some of us read from our phones, some have slow, dial up connections, others are reading on their lunch break at work. We expect the OP and the resulting discussion to happen here. We can all get a news feed that at least lets us know what we're clicking into. That is not what we come here for.

officers for assault. A person has every right to refuse medical treatment and the hospital has no grounds to try to make him pay for for unncessary tests, particularly since there was not anything wrong with him he was wide awake and coherent and he did not consent to what was being done to him. Maybe if the hospital had to collect from the police department or city they might think twice about participating in this gross miscarriage of justice. Talk about insult to injury. That is one jury I would love to be on.

Johnson & Johnson fined $2.2 billion over kickbacks and other allegations

It is one of the largest health-care fraud settlements in US history.

Allison JacksonNovember 4, 2013

Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay $2.2 billion to resolve allegations that it provided kickbacks to doctors and pharmacies to push three of its medicines, as well as promoted the drugs for uses not officially approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

The US Justice Department announced the settlement Monday. It is reportedly one of the largest health-care fraud settlements in US history.

"This global settlement resolves multiple investigations involving the antipsychotic drugs Risperdal and Invega -- as well as the heart drug Natrecor and other Johnson & Johnson products," Attorney General Eric Holder said in a statement.

"The settlement also addresses allegations of conduct that recklessly put at risk the health of some of the most vulnerable members of our society -- including young children, the elderly, and the disabled."...MORE

and that such searches are courteous. If you bothered to check the date of the story you would have seen when it occurred and, because of the delay might feel that there are other sources with more detail. A simple site search here would have given you that extra detail.

For example your post failed to catch the fact that this is at least the 2nd time this PD and this search team have done this. You would also have found out that the K-9 made the same false "discovery" smelling the car seat the previous time. You might also have picked up that this K-9 has not been re-certified for drugs work since 2011.
