"Fearing Senate Losses, Dems Now Urge Obamacare Delay" (Yahoo, so take it

with a grain of salt.)

A growing number of panicky Senate Democrats are urging President Obama to extend the enrollment period for the star-crossed Affordable Care Act and even postpone for a year a requirement that uninsured Americans sign up for Obamacare or pay a penalty.

That is why Alaska senator and others in Reddish/Purple states are putting up a hue and cry right now.

in fact, I have never understood why nearly all insurance plans have a limited enrollment window

why can't people sign up at any time

Not that I dislike invertebrates...octopii have tremendous brains and great eyes.
