CBS apologizes for 60 Minutes Benghazi report - will issue correction

http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/4239046/

In a humiliating retreat from a piece she had staunchly defended, "60 Minutes" correspondent Lara Logan admitted on Friday morning that she and the news magazine had made a "mistake" in their reporting of a controversial story about the Benghazi attacks. She apologized to viewers and said "60 Minutes" will issue a correction about the reliability of one of her key sources, security contractor Dylan Davies, on its next program.

Probably the biggest joke on CBS is that Faux turned it down because it didn't meet their standards

How can anyone trust the garbage from her mouth again?

I smell someone trying to create another "war hero".

'Foxnews-ish' entertainment channel. Nothing more or less. The day they fired Dan Rather for telling the truth, is the day they became Foxnews Lite.

So, sorry 60 Minutes - your apology (which will probably be 15 seconds long at the very end when the credits are rolling & nobody's actually watching) is deemed useless.

They better issue this again on 60 Minutes.

lead reporter. How can anyone put together the story she did without double and triple checking claims that were made? Also, the story had repeated voice overlays of rioting crowds as scene of raging fires were repeatedly shown. The story was cartoonish as best, a crass attempt at character assassination at the worst.

If your journalism sucks more than Fox News, you have truly reached a low in integrity typically reserved for sensationalist blogs like Brietbart and Daily Caller.
