Are Republicans saying that we did not have a problem with access to healthcare before Obamacare??

How many people believe that??

Forty to fifty million with no doctor and no coverage if they became ill. Was that a good system?

Insurance premiums rising by double-digits every year. Their benefits decreasing as their deductibles increased.

They used their monopolistic powers to drop people without cause, even if they were very ill at the time.

They refused to cover anyone with pre-existing conditions without a king's ransom.

And even though the law "grandfathered" in policies that were in effect in March, 2010, certain policies (individual) were only written for one year at a time.

After that first year, the insurance company had a free hand to raise their premiums to whatever price the market could command. And they did.

This is the monster with which we are dealing.

and that the Democrats ruined everything.

I'm sure if their portfolios are heavy with health insurance stock, they might have a point.

They fail at being human, though.

They act as if 40-50 million people without a doctor is a good system.

And the costs for insurance were low and stable?

And the insurance companies did not rip off anybody?
