Shortly after passing the country’s worst voter suppression law, North Carolina Republicans targeted student voting.

The GOP-controlled board of elections in Pasquotank County voted to prevent a student at a historically black college from running for city council where he attended school. The GOP-controlled board of election in Watauga County shut down an early voting site at Appalachian State University in Boone and placed the general election polling place at a campus nightclub instead of the student union.

Both of these moves backfired badly on the North Carolina GOP in the 2013 local elections.

The North Carolina state board of elections ruled that Montravias King, a senior at Elizabeth City State University could indeed run for the city council where he attended school, which he said was his primary residence. On October 9, King was elected to the Elizabeth City city council, winning the most votes of any candidate. He’s now the youngest elected official in the state.

In Boone, Democrats swept races for mayor and three city council seats on Tuesday. Voter turnout increased ..........

I know many on DU believe Voter supression will create voter Apathy. But that's the past. We have seen what it looks like when we sit out. We get Bush co, The crash of 2008, and Tea turds of 2010.

Also remember the town in NC where the Tea Turds took over the school board and tried to bring Segregation.

Bring about Armaggedon by trying to convert Jews to Christianty and somehow convience them to move back to Israel to fulfill a bible prophecy, so God can Slaughter them and Start The End of times.

2. Why would anyone want the end times to come quicker than it MIGHT come?

Most SANE people fear the end of the world and want to live as long as possible. Why rush it?
Why would we want to deprive a long and happy life for our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren?
Why would we want this BEAUTIFUL planet of ours to go up in flames...taking all the animals with it? It's so stupid to believe in the end time anyway. Those people need an intervention... even though it probably wouldn't do any good.
