Don't Be Playing Hail to the Chief Just Yet, Chris-This was lowest gubernatorial turnout EVER in NJ.

Christie-Buono race draws record low turnout for N.J. governor's election

when you look a little closer, it wasn't anywhere near as fantastic as the media (and Christie) would like you to believe. Here's the thing: This was the lowest gubernatorial turnout ever in NJ:

With 99 percent of the voting precincts counted, 2,073,642 voters cast ballots for governor, according to the Associated Press. That's a shade less than 38 percent of the state's registered voters.

Repugs don't deal in reality, they just make shit up as they go along and then keep repeating it until nobody has the strength to correct them any longer.

I might be biased because I'm FB friends with her, but the reason is that her party (mostly at the state level) did not give her the support that she needed.

She's the first woman to run for statewide office in NJ on the Democratic ticket (yes the GOP beat the Democrats on this front with Christie Whitman, who is laid the foundation for many of the state's problems).

There was an article from a Seattle paper about the NJDSC's problems that made the rounds on FB this week that summed everything up.
