13-year-old students report seeing their teacher on a porn site...

A middle school teacher has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into rumors that she's also a hardcore porn actress, KCAL-TV reports.

<...>

KTLA-TV reports that officials were alerted when students showed administrators a pornographic video allegedly starting the teacher.

"These allegations do not involve any Oxnard School District students," the school's statement says, according to KTLA. "We are asking teachers to discourage the children from searching for and/or visiting these inappropriate sites. We ask that you be particularly vigilant over the next few days with respect to the Internet content being accessed by your child on his or her telephone or other Internet-ready devices."

Superintendent Jeff Chancer told the Ventura County Star his main worry -- other than students trying to search for videos of the teacher -- is that it will disrupt productivity.

it's that a porn site can be viewed at all by kids.

Yet we can't do anything about that without major moves toward censorship.

looking at porn on the internet. Truly.

Google 'Free Porn' without the quotes. I advise not clicking the links, since porn sites are notorious for spreading malware.

Do the same in the Google Images search.

While some parents are competent to use existing parental control software to control their home PCs, many are not, and many other PCs have no such controls. For example, after fixing a nasty malware problem on my 84-year-old mother-in-law's PC, I did some exploring in the history of a web browser she doesn't use. In fact, I did not know that Chrome was even on her PC. The history was full of porn sites. The culprit? Her 13-year-old grandson, who "plays computer games" on Grandma's PC during family gatherings. He's smart enough to find the porn sites, but not smart enough to delete the browser history. I'm smart enough to catch him.

Well, he's not allowed near Grandma's PC any more, to his frustration, but his agreement to keep off that PC led to an agreement not to discuss the incident with his parents. In reality, his father is a porn addict, so it probably wouldn't make any difference.

Adolescent boys, especially, will find porn on the Internet.

You can't truly tell, because they have concealed her face and it is a big blur, but you can infer from the rest of the image that it's a reasonable close up with good to excellent clarity. She's also speaking, so there's voice to go on, too.

One can read the writing on the pizza box that the "pizza delivery man" is holding (cue the wonka-wonka music) so I think the resolution on the opus is not a problem.

There's just a lot of babble about "appropriateness" at this stage of the game. She might be able to tough it out if she can stand the pointin' and grinnin' that accompanies these sorts of revelations.

Does your twin sound like you, as well? Hopefully you have a few "identifying marks" that could distinguish you in the unlikely event your twin decides to cash in via the hummmanahummana route!

For all the school (and the world knows for that matter) she could have a twin sister who was given up at birth. Or maybe her father/grandfather fooled around.

I just think she shouldn't be fired regardless. It isn't her fault, even assuming she was the porn star, since underage children shouldn't be looking at porn sites.

You can clearly see that the resolution of the image is excellent, despite the fact that the face is blurred. The woman is speaking, and no doubt she spoke more lines before the wonka-wonka guitar started in and the nitty gritty was gotten down to.

I am not suggesting that people can figure out who she is by the NEWS BROADCAST clip, I am saying that based on the clarity of the images, it is likely that she's identifiable to anyone watching the actual FILM.

13 year olds are routinely scouring porn sites, and then telling school administrators what they've found?

How do they even google for that kind of stuff? Is she using her real name? "Miss Edna Jones from Haydock Middle School, starring in "More Pepperoni, Please" or something on those lines?

And the abbreviated clip provided by the news outlet? The pizza delivery man scenario? REALLY? Could that possibly be more hackneyed?

I suppose she could make a case that the school isn't paying enough, and she needed a second job to make ends meet!

I do think it sucks that (per the video report) fellow teachers had a role in spreading the rumors about her other job. I guess she will soon know who her friends AREN'T.

"Gerardo Sanchez, father of a 13-year-old student at the school, told KCAL-TV that he can't believe this is happening at his child's school.

'School is supposed to be a safe place," he told the station. 'Now, you think twice because you never know what is going to happen.'"

Really, dude? Are you fucking serious? Guess what: your child's school IS STILL A SAFE PLACE. One of your kids' teachers may have done porn -- WHEN SHE WAS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR CHILD -- and you think the school is now suddenly not a safe place?

Guess what, dude: the *world* is not a safe place, especially if you're the kind of person who is terrified that you may be exposed to things you personally don't like when you step outside of your house. If you're so worried that your precious little snowflake is going to interact with a person who did something you don't approve of *when that person was nowhere near your child*, you should move to Mars, build a moat around your house, and homeschool. Also, remember to bang the rocks together, you idiot.

The world is *filled* with people who do things you don't approve of. Off the top of my head, I can think of something: parents who think a school is suddenly *unsafe*, because one of the teachers at that school may have done something they don't approve of when they were nowhere near the school.

Even though I don't agree with parents who are losing their shit because of something a teacher may have done away from school on her own time, I completely understand why it would make some of them uncomfortable or angry... but to suggest that it somehow makes the school _unsafe_? That's just fucking stupid. I mean, that's Sarah Palin stupid.

Okay. Rant over. I *told* you that you should probably skip this.

Yeah, Like they filmed and watched the porn right there at the school.

If you have an issue with anybody it's with your kid. Where's he watching the porn at? Chances are it was right at home. If he didn't have access to it he wouldn't have ever known about it.
Yet it's blame the teacher for doing what adults all over the world do. The only difference is she did it on film. Big deal.

Countless men and women have appeared in adult films and for many of them it was the only time they ever did it. Unfortunately for them they sign a waiver reliquishing their rights to the video and they hope that no one ever sees it. My question is why the hell did the students rat out the teacher. She didnt break any laws and she probably had moved on with her life. The parents are at fault for letting these little perverts get access to an adult web site. I have two boys and the filter is on my computer because I know how horny teebage boys can be since I used to be one.
