What a remarkable and sad situation when an amorphous group of people on the interwebs has to try to make others reconsider jackass decisions.

The damn thing is only seventy percent finished, and the cost overruns alone already come to over two billion dollars. This is at a time of extreme austerity, and when our Navy already has fifteen super carriers. Yet grade school kids in this country have to go hungry for the want of thirty fucking cents?

We need to lay-off two thirds of our Generals and Admirals, at the very least. The Pentagon has lost it's mind.

They tweet a lot of info. Since they are an amorphous group, what really happens remains to be seen.
However, when they have issued these statements, they have followed up.

Her school's policy is that they will not allow the child to hungry; they still provide food and send home a WRITTEN reminder to put money in the child's account.

No reason to not feed a child.
