this link will show you what the various plans cost in your zip code. i tested it out using my info and its dead on.
its a way to see what it will cost w/o using healthcare.gov (you would have to check the individual companies to see what the coverages actually are but its a start)

(54,770 posts)3. The one problem with some of these is they don't give a premium for your specific age.
A 51 year old pays more than a 50 year old, etc.
As someone pointed out to me, even the quick lookup on healthcare.gov only breaks it down into a couple of age ranges. So if you are say 60 and look at the plans that pop up, you will actually pay maybe as much as 30% more than what is displayed.
However, when I looked further, I was still surprised to find the rates were lower than I ever paid for a traditional Blue Cross Plan with an ever increasing deductible to minimize 20 to 30% annual premium increases.
So, this is not a criticism of ACA -- which I support over what we had before -- but the web sites aren't telling the whole truth.
It appears the HealthSerpa site does do it by actual age. Cool and useful.

nothing like what I got on the healthcare.gov website. The subsidies that website is showing are way higher than actual.
