Libertarian Party.

That's why he would have choice words for Rand Paul.

Carlin recognized the power of oligarchs and mega-corporations in owning government and by extension owning the people, that's a distinction which is lost on Paul.

Carlin would be against trusts and monopolies, Paul doesn't give a shit.

We should all follow his words like Gospel. He wouldn't tolerate centrist democrats I know that.

and small truths but "Gospel" is a loaded word and I'm so sure that Gospel should even be followed as Gospel, although there is much wisdom in Gospel as well.

Some people view Carlin's message as being defeatest, to give up, we're already owned but I take an opposing point of view, Carlin intended to anger his listeners so as to build up resistance.

I believe Carlin's primary intent and message was to spark critical thinking and action which is desperately needed in order to oppose those dark and powerful forces beholden to nothing but greed and the pursuit of power while not giving a damn about the people.

OK this would probably go against his anti-religious stance, but wouldn't it be fun to say "motherfucker" during a prayer?

"We have to declare war on everything. We have the war on crime, the war on poverty, the war on litter, the war on cancer, the war on drugs.

But did you ever notice, we got no war on homelessness? You know why? There's no money in that problem! No money to be made off of the homeless. If you could find a solution to homelessness where the corporate swine and the politicians could steal a couple of million dollars each, you'd see the streets of America begin to clear up pretty goddamned quick, I'll guarantee you that!"
