Woman killed in officer-involved shooting

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A woman is dead after an officer-involved shooting early Thursday morning on the streets of Santa Fe.

Residents woke up to gunfire just after 1 a.m. along Camino Carlos Rey.

Santa Fe police are working alongside New Mexico State Police to figure out exactly what happened.

State Police released the identity of the woman who was killed. She is 39-year-old Jeanette Anaya of Santa Fe.
