I learned more in that 1-year with the 554th then I did in the previous 3 from training and my time with a typical CES at Grand Forks.
Had a great time, and made "PACAF Enigneering AMN of the Quarter" while there and almost earned a ride in an F4.
Someday I'd like to re-visit Osan and Song Tan Se (Sp?), for old time's sake.
Good memories from eveings at the Viking Club.

(18,124 posts)what a time in life. Learned a lot about human nature. Not all of it good.
Victor_c3
(3,557 posts)I certainly did learn a lot of human nature, but I believe overall the experience made me a much kinder, more loving, and gentler person. Then again, that's just me.
Anyways, I hope that you (like all vets) are doing something special for themselves today. All I want to do is sit on my patio, drink a beer, and watch my kids run around but I'll have to see if I can actually get that to happen.
