Walker? Nugent? Neither?
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker Denies He Works Closely With NRA's Ted Nugent
A spokesperson for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker denied National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent's claim that he collaborated with Walker during a 2011 showdown between the Republican governor and unions. Walker's denial was prompted by Nugent's recent declaration on a Detroit radio station that he "worked close with Scott Walker's team in Wisconsin when he took it away from the hippies and got rid of the debt and got some freedom back in Wisconsin."

An old Wisconsin tradition.
Bryan James Hathaway, 25, was charged with assaulting off-duty policewoman
Officer Kody Vedder was shopping with her daughter at the time of the incident
Vedder spotted Hathaway looking shifty in the backseat of a car and tried to detain him
Police seized three brand-new cell phones and other equipment from the car where Hathaway was sitting
Man was convicted in 2006 of molesting the carcass of a deer he found in a ditch while biking
in 2005, Hathaway pleaded no contest to shooting an Arabian horse to have sex with it

(25,699 posts)Image. He wants to feel like an important guy who goes around kicking "hippy" asses. So, make up some bullshit about how he was instrumental in one of the bigger screw-jobs in recent times, and he can strut around like he's a big dog.
I'm not sure who I would believe, but I do know that Ted Nugent is almost always completely full of shit, so I would, in a he-said-she-said like this, lean towards believing Walker.

(50,553 posts)The only thing Nugent knows about governing is he doesn't want anyone to do it. The odds of Walker asking Nugent for anything are slim.
But they legally couldn't keep him away, so he dolled himself up like a Mexican bandido with guns from head to toe, ran to Wisconsin and stood there.
