(30,481 posts)As a Floridian, I know exactly how this feels. Even the members of DU were allowed to show support for a conservative over a Democrat during one Florida election. It hurts to see your hard work and good deeds undone by those who are suppose to be your supporters. The end result of that is Crist will walk his way back into the governors mansion.
Too often, party leaders work against us.

(83,453 posts)I'd love to see his prospects somehow dimmed before 2016. I hate the momentum and the man-crushes for him all over the media. We need to make it clear to all the damn Dems who supported him - chris christie is NOT your friend. I don't care how cool he seems with his bullying and bombast and that in-yer-face "plain talkin'" shit schtick of his. You vote him into office and you will find yourselves securely in the crosshairs of that. That tough-guy swagger will be aimed directly at YOU and everything you believe in. And we'll all have to live with it and suffocate underneath it because YOU did not pay attention and were led around by your fantasies.

(14,337 posts)However, Hillary was also a Senator from New York. A former Democrat Senator from one NE state, or a Republican Governor from another NE state? Cristie versus Hillary in NYS? You lose, Cristie. I think he would still lose the NE if she ran against him.

(1,151 posts)This man is a monster. Repulsive to the eye, a bully who would destroy public education. Has destroyed planned parenthood. An enemy of the middle class an enemy of the poor. A pig quite obviously. How can a reasonable person vote for this man?

(459 posts)greasy asshole this creep is. He is not for lowering working class taxes. He is a teabagger and will take away not only your rights but he will vote to take away social security too. He wants to lower rich people taxes putting this country into even worse economic trouble. Smartin the fuck up.

PALMYRA Gov. Chris Christie came to this riverside town today to collect two more Democratic endorsements as he seeks re-election.
Christie pocketed the support of Mayor Karen Scheffler and Council President David Dorworth, giving him the endorsements of more than 50 Democratic officials with 25 days to go in the race against Democratic Sen. Barbara Buono.

I suspect that Democratic Party traitorous endorsement chicanery caused low dem voter turnout. Sad for Barbara Buono and the entire state of New Jersey. With political friends like that, who needs enemies?
