I'm watching the PBS two part special on President Kennedy. I was only three at the time. But from family history (and memory) we were a Kennedy household!

When JFK campaigned in this area I was a Kennedy Girl like a lot of local high school girls were at the time. We were bused from the high school to the local city where he was speaking to add to the massive turnout that gathered on the main street to hear him. As JFK supporters my parents were thrilled. It's a day I'll never forget.
