2014 is the only thing we should discuss until the election is over.

No more posting stories on Obamacare.

No more discussing stories on rape.

No more posting videos of cute kittens.

No more late breaking news of world events.

No more posting anything that doesn't mention the 2014 election because we are incapable as intelligent, free-thinking adults to focus on more than one thing at a time.

Enough.

2. It should also be forbidden to mention any potential candidates not named Hillary Clinton.

This applies to all elections, from dog-catcher to Senator.

I'd like to get some more Dems in the House in 2014. I'd love to see a Governor Davis here in Texas. I haven't the time to think about 2016. When I talk about elections, 2014 is what I want to talk about. The rest is just silly.

Post away on other topics, but any ideas about 2016 are just plain stupid at this point.

11. Really? It's stupid to discuss the next presidential election on a site for discussing politics?

Until then, I will post about the 2024 election every day, and I will be vocally upset every time someone doesn't get it.

Agreed, we must be cheerleaders and concentrate on getting out the vote, and talk about how we all must vote for Democrats in 2014, else we are not good and loyal Democrats. Go Team!

And no one wants to be a disloyal Democrat. Go Team!

There should be a daily cheerleading thread, and any Duers who are absent from posting in it will be looked at with suspicion, as possible trolls or disloyal to the party. Go Team!

I am sorry, but no posting of cute kittens will make the world explode.

Still, I agree that 2014 is very important, and I rather not deal with any 2016 topics at this time.
