Question for news junkies regarding Chris Christie
Does the media ever mention that Christie split off the special election for Senator thus suppressing turn out. Seems to me that they make a big deal of his percentage of minority support, but not that the Booker vote would have eroded that support level.

4. He also had the vote to raise the minimum wage on the ticket with his race, which is well known to
push up turn out. Although I heard it mentioned a couple of times, I never heard a commentator mention the standard impact on elections when minimum wage is included.
Looked like everyone was just supposed to be blown away by Christie's "big" win. |
