Dickwad Boehner insults everyone's intelligence

He just now repeated the RW meme that Federally run healthcare (Obamacare) will destroy "the best health care delivery system in the world". Who in the hell does he think he is kidding? 48 million currently uninsured in this country would beg to differ with that statement.

I have my belief that anything 'American' is better.
The health care debate is hardly a debate about health care, it is a debate about values.
Anything less than 'free market capitalism' is socialist or communist.
Successful European models are rejected as 'European Solutions" that are foreign to our way of life.
The debate is not about optimizing resources to address health care but rather to defend the belief that we are already the best and even proposing any other solution is un-American.

I think most of us are tired of being screwed by the health insurance industry.

I can't count how many times my policy paid 80% when they were suppposed to pay 90%. After hours fighting on the phone, they'd correct it, only to make the same "mistake", wink, wink, on the next claim

When my daughter was diagnosed with serious illness, they simply cancelled our paid-up policy. Again, after many hours fighting on the phone, they'd reinstate us, only to cancel us again the next month. This occurred month after month, after month.

I also learned during this time, that the State insurance commissioner was a shill for the insurance industry, and absolutely no help to this consumer.

I can say, without reservation, that for-profit health insurance executives are mass murderers for profit.
