Quite a few of them most likely want to reduce the abortions done by white women. I'm guessing that's why the great bulk of anti-abortion protests you see are in small towns. You won't see them picketing inner-city abortion clinics because I'm sure they're fine with what goes on there for the most part.

This is not just about the protesters at the clinic, far from it. Look at the laws the GOP and Baggers keep pushing through Congress on a woman's right to choice. What's with the forced trans-vaginal ultra sounds that the GOP Governors are forcing on women. Whats with the war on women's rights?

No. This is about power and it most certainly is about Subjugating Women!

What I said was that wasn't the ONLY motivation behind the supposed "pro-life" crowd. My experience with them over the years tells me that racism has quite a bit to do with it as well.

whether it's literal rape or forcing us carry fetuses to term. If men were able to get pregnant the morning after pill would be available in vending machines.

If the woman can take it off, as surely she'd want to on occasion, then so can a rapist. Besides, if he couldn't, he'd kill her anyway.

And an "eggster" admitted as much in a conversation with me a couple years back.

He was a regular at anti-abortion events, then became a regular at any event promoting so-called 'personhood'.

When I told him that the only way to give rights to an egg would be to remove those rights from the egg's host, and he said, "Absolutely!" And he equivocated when I asked if the mothers would have their rights restored once they'd given birth.

He went on to assert that we need a return to constitutional "purity", to the clean document that existed before it was corrupted (his word) by the Bill of Rights. So, yeah, no rights for women. And slavery's cool...

Secessionist leaders left evidence in writing that they had no qualms about white slavery either.

Of course the GOP continues to promote this in the form of economic slavery.
