Do you ever feel that medical Science Advancement will eventually make USA a socialist country ?

Here are few main points

1) Recent scientific advancement and future advancements will make sure that people live long. Some scientists believe that the person who will live 150+ years is already born.

2) People are having less children (at-least in developed countries).

According to me, one of the fundamental theory of capitalism is :

Rich class is always very less in numbers compared to the poor class. Rich takes money from Poor class through various ethical and non-ethical business and gathers more wealth. Poor class (1st generation) will procreate and produce more people (poor/middle class 2nd generation) which rich class can exploit again through hiring them on poor wages and keeping them but their products/services and poor class ( 1st generation) dies after retirement as soon as possible.

Now poor/middle class are pro-creating less due to their lifestyle change and financial hardship and scientific advancements have made people living even 100+ years and beyond. With further scientific advancements, life expectancy is expected to go up in almost each and every country.

Thus, i think it is not possible for many capitalist companies to sustain their profits due to

1) Future young customers (and slave workers) will decrease. Thus, young people who consume more goods/services decrease.

2) Current generation people may retire at 65 or 67 but still live 100+ years or maybe even 150+ years. Thus, spending a significant time of their lifetime without working. This may definitely affect their purchasing power as most of them do not have lifetime pensions and majority of them rely on little savings and small social security check. Thus, people may live more years but their purchasing power may keep on decreasing.

Thus, i think the only possible solution to this problem is socialism.

I may be wrong in my theory, so please feel free to post your views.

Thank you.

People like Dick Cheney will live longer and have access to medical treatment. They will have less children and control more and more of the total wealth of the nation.

The vast majority of the rest of the people will be poor. They will be told to have children. They will have no access to birth control or abortion. They will be told to work hard and someday you to can climb up the social ladder. There are no rungs on the ladder. They will die at about the average age people who reach adulthood die at.

It is almost like now only Dick Cheney will live to see this future and you won't

...I doubt it will be that easy for the hoi poloi to control things. A greater lifespan means a greater impetus to keep the world on a sustainable course.
