patients because they were just overwhelmed and stressed beyond the breaking point. In America. The United States of America. Richest country on earth. The absolute nerve to compare health insurance issues with that.

August 2013:

A significant chunk of Louisiana Republicans evidently believe that President Barack Obama is to blame for the poor response to the hurricane that ravaged their state more than three years before he took office.

The latest survey from Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling, provided exclusively to TPM, showed an eye-popping divide among Republicans in the Bayou State when it comes to accountability for the government's post-Katrina blunders.

Twenty-eight percent said they think former President George W. Bush, who was in office at the time, was more responsible for the poor federal response while 29 percent said Obama, who was still a freshman U.S. Senator when the storm battered the Gulf Coast in 2005, was more responsible. Nearly half of Louisiana Republicans — 44 percent — said they aren't sure who to blame.

Thank goodness the media does such a good job keeping everyone well informed

That was insane. They could have asked any myriad of historical questions such as, "who killed Kennedy?" and gotten Obama as an answer.

for the slow response to black plague deaths in 1365, and I have it on good account that he kidnapped the Lindbergh baby.

after committing the Tondo/Quiapo massacre back in October of that year. You know how he is, he has to take a vacation constantly, so I'm surprised he managed to make it back in time!

and Fox was on their tv (always is) and some douchebag was spewing this garbage and he and the host were acting so appalled and outraged at the ACA "disaster." It was almost comical (except the real Katrina) as that's what they are...actors.

An obvious drug rep was sitting nearby smirking so I shook my head and muttered what a bunch of BS and also what idiots these people are on this channel loud enough for her to hear me and the others around us.
