Randi Rhodes Show will continue!

She just announced, on her show, that the network has changed their mind. She has her contract and looks like she's good for another year.

Which she asked for specifically (that format) because she wanted the conservative listeners to hear a different pov, and possibly make some converts. I think she may have done that. I know some of the rw calls were simply because they kept their radio on the same channel and lo and behold they heard a new voice. One guy said he didn't agree with anything she said and he could get very angry just listening to her *but* she also gave him a lot to think about.

Dave Ramsey was on right before her, and I think Glenn Beck was on in the morning. Coast to Coast was on at night, and I don't know who else... She was the only one I listened to, but they advertised those other shows and that's why I knew about them.

I hope XM will add her on another channel. She was the only reason I got satellite radio in the first place. First Sirius in 2004, and then XM when her show was moved there. I signed up for her podcasts a few weeks ago when she was cancelled on XM.

I enjoy the show and am glad we're not losing another liberal voice from the commercial airwaves.

For those who don’t listen. She’s the best in the business at explaining shit in simple terms..
She knows she’s good and thats a bit of a problem for some. But it does not bother me a bit..
