http://samuel-warde.com/2012/09/ted-koppel-fox-news-bad-for-america/The big thing you have to admire about Ted Koppel is that he wont be bullied into saying anything that isnt the truth, be it about the news or about a supposed-news organization like Fox News. While appearing on Bill O Reillys show, he basically lambastes the network for not being a true news network and brands them a business nothing more, nothing less.
Koppel notes that ideological news is bad for America from wherever the ideology stems. He notes that there is no question when watching Fox News where the ideological bent comes from. Further, he chastises O Reilly for pretending to be a real news anchor, especially when he goes so far as to remind O Reilly Once upon a time, you and I thought journalism was a calling instead of just a business.

That little kiss at the end?
Bravo.

(1,085 posts)Both MSNBC and Fox have talk shows with political agenda..nothing new or revealing in that,,,.However, Fox also has what it calls "Fair and Balanced News' which also has a political agenda ..presented in a much more subtle way but there nevertheless,.,.and that is dangerous because not everyone watching realizes that stories are selected and facts chosen to promote that agenda and just enough "alternate views" are given to present the illusion of "balanced"
