serious weather today. We had thunder in St. Paul, MN yesterday, as a cold front passed. That cold front is moving on into your area and beyond, but it's hitting warmer, moister air than it did here. The farther south you go, the more nasty the weather is likely to be. Indiana and that region are in for it today.

30-40 mph sustained winds gusting to 60 this afternoon into the overnight/early morning hours.

The weather service still calls it "PDS" a particularly dangerous situation.
