ZIMMERMAN isn't funny, but Gawker readers' comments are:

Nice guy George Zimmerman told a 911 operator on Monday that he did not pull a gun on his girlfriend. "I have a girlfriend, who for lack of a better word, has gone crazy on me," explained Zimmerman.

(Comments. More at the link.)

Fact: George Zimmerman has a girlfriend and I'm sitting on my living room floor, by myself, eating M&Ms. BUT at least no one called the cops on me today, so om nom nom nom.

“Is this 911?” -- “Oh, hi, George.”

Zimmermann suffers from what I call "Murder She Wrote Syndrome"": everywhere Angela Lansbury went someone got murdered yet at no point did anyone ever stop to think — "hey maybe it’s the old lady?” ...

If you knew a writer, either as a family member, friend, or acquaintance, where there was always a murder when she attended an event, would you continue to invite her?

I think not.

In that same vein, why would anyone date someone who is a known murderer with anger management issues? His girlfriend must not be very smart.

I have some really annoying relatives.

If you knew a writer, either as a family member, friend, or acquaintance, where there was always a murder when she attended an event, would you continue to invite her?

or serving time for murder.

And even though this was supposedly set in Maine, they never seemed to get any wintry weather there.

George Zimmerman is a model citizen. Please consider a sentence of community service.
