Just for laughs: "You know you're a Packer fan when..." (not really about sports, fyi)

your baby's birth announcement says this:

"Being huge Packers fans, his name was decided when parents learned he was born with a broken left clavicle. (Aaron Rodger Dryer)"

Poor baby, dealing with a break but at least there's a great story for when he's older.

I have a cousin named Vince and another named Brett. It's pretty common.

Read through the comments on the link-lots of boys named after players. I loved the woman who made a comment about how she was worried about her son's future injuries, since his name was Finley Aaron.

Unfortunately, that leaves the Lions as possibly winning the North, unless one of us heals.

I'm not worried about the Vikings. Either one of our teams could sit the rest of the season out and the Vikes would still be in last.

First of all, "stats expert Bears fan?" Doesn't exist. Second, why would one be attracted to inherent lameness and failure when they are already surrounded by the majesty that is the Green Bay Packers tradition?

Take one guy out, and you have NOTHING LEFT. NOTHING.

It wasn't playing dirty. But, I wouldn't expect anything less than whining "dirty" from a Packers fan. Sacking Rodgers isn't playing dirty, it's football. He's brittle, apparently.

We still managed to hang with you guys, and we had way more than one guy out. Also, it wasn't a sack, as he was beyond the line of scrimmage, tho I'm not shocked a Bears fan couldn't figure out that distinction.

In all seriousness, we have serious issues with our defense, injuries or no, and it'll be interesting to see if Capers is still with the team come next season.

Oh yeah, almost 30 years ago. Well done there!

And if you lose literally the best player at his position in the sport, it's gonna have a pretty dramatic impact on your team one way or another. That's not even mentioning the dozen or so other starters we seem to lose each week, making me wonder if our PT staff isn't exactly doing a good job!!!

Record 13 NFL world championships

League annals show 13 World Championships,[6] the most in the NFL (the next closest team is the Chicago Bears, with nine). The first three were decided by league standing, the next six by the NFL Title Game, and the final four by Super Bowl victories. The Packers are also the only team to win three consecutive NFL titles, having accomplished this twice (1929-30-31 under Lambeau and 1965-66-67 under Vince Lombardi).

When he did that, I looked at him and said, "I know why you did that."
"No, you don't."
"Yes, I do... you X-Men geek."

We both collected comics as teens, and he was a big X-Men fan (Logan being Wolverine's real name... kind of).

Then he and his wife had a daughter that they named Madeline, and I asked him, "Like the little French girl? You have two kids named after cartoon characters?"

I wondered if it was after Wolverine. I'm a bit of a geek that way.

And Madeline, lol. It could have been Jean instead.
