Big Ed talked about the story that's gotten lots of attention over the past few days: the one about the Wal-Mart in OH that has been collecting donations of food for employees -- from other employees. The woman who took the infamous photos was on Rachel's show last night. This is quite a quote; too bad I missed the interview on Rachel's show last night.

(41,831 posts)I am sure that Christmas and New Years will be next. I can understand working those holidays if one works at , say for example at a hospital. When I worked for a hospital, we were allowed to chose one holiday we would have to work.. be it Thankgiving, Christmas or New Years...but we were essential personnel.
Its not essential to be selling pajamas and or suit ties on Thanksgiving. Families should be together but Corporations are taking that away. With Unions becoming nearly non existent ... this is what happens in the major retail department store... the bosses say... BAH HUMBUG... work your ass off peons!
