The Theme for the November Contest is: Metaphor AbstractEntries are allowed to focus on Metaphor, Abstract, or Both. The Processing Rules are there are no processing rules. Anything goes.
Please take a moment to comment on a photo or photos and help keep this thread kicked (and recommended).
I'm sure the photographers would appreciate some kind words if you take the time to say a few good things about a particular photo or photos.

I wish I could offer an explanation for every photo (other than the obvious) but I don't know the process used on some of the photos.

(22,380 posts)9 times out of 10 the finals provide surprises in their votes. It often seems just like what you are saying, folks looking at photos again and see brand new stuff.

(8,175 posts)I was so tempted to pick America, because it is so evocative of our global policies, but Winter's Dance looks like a Van Gogh and I just can't stop wanting to get caught up in that swirl. Nightmare on Buckeye Lane makes me feel like I'm in Lord of the Rings. Another one I just can't stop looking at.
They are all just stunning. Beautiful work everyone.

(9,314 posts)appeals and doesn't appeal to people. I love doing abstract photos and my husband looks at me like I've lost my mind. He doesn't get it at all. He likes realistic photos.
