Unpacking a box from our move...it's a trip back to 1968

It's a treasure trove of Bobby Kennedy posters, buttons, newspapers. I have a personal response from Ted Kennedy to a letter I (rather sloppily) wrote while riding a bus downtown to hear Bobby speak. There's even an old 45 rpm of the Battle Hymn Of The Republic / Ave Maria, performed by Andy Williams at his funeral.

This is printed on the back of the record jacket:

"My brother need not be idealized or enlarged in death beyond what he was in life.
He should be remembered as simply a good man who saw wrong and tried to right it, saw suffering and tried to heal it, saw war and tried to stop it."

Senator Edward M. Kennedy
Saint Patrick's Cathredral - June 8, 1968

Let us not forget...this is what we, as Democrats should be about.

Peace.
