Why I support the filibuster change and accepting how DC works

Democrats filibustered more under W than previously and I would argue it was necessary. However, most of it was show.

Bush got what he wanted and more.

But Obama? they made it there mission from day one to obstruct and that they have done.

I would prefer that the filibuster stay, but not in this environment. It's pointless and seriously impacting our courts and agencies... not to mention legislation, which sadly won't change.

But here's no matter how much damage the GOP has done, a President Romney or Christie or even a President Tea Bag would get what they want. Yeah, Democrats would filibuster some, but ultimately we would go further down the hell hole started by Reagan.

So, at least when Democrats do control things, they can at least move on appointees.
