Sarah Palin was within 25 miles of me, and I didn't even know!!!

She was in Olathe, Kansas (suburb of Kansas City), at a Barnes and Noble signing books! I would have known about it if I had spent the night on the computer like I usually do, but I decided to sew a vest to wear when I twist balloons! ARGH! I have pictures of me getting books from Pat Buchanan and Ted Nugent while I stick my tongue out at them! This would have been a trifecta!!!

A friend of mine was there in the mall/shopping center and didn't know what the crowds were for until he asked. He was within 30 feet of her. He said he wanted to yell, "My name is Russia! Can you see me from over there?"
