5. way back when

when they used to have these things called "manners," people would use the greetings interchangeably.

when I was kid, I was surprised that not everyone celebrated christmas. I was like, 'huh? they won't get any presents.'

then my mom told me about other people and cultures, their traditions, and the pagan roots of the modern christmas celebration.

she even told me about the different ways that christmas is celebrated in just the english speaking world.

it learnded me that there are multiple year end holidays.

not just christmas.
